VIENNA (AP) — An unusual secret agreement with a U.N. agency will allow Iran to use its own experts to inspect a site allegedly used to develop nuclear arms. That's according to a document seen by The Associated Press. Normally, such work would be done by the U.N. agency. The revelation is bound to stir up critics of the main Iran deal signed by the U.S., Iran and five world powers in July.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — An attorney for longtime Subway pitchman Jared Fogle says his client has a "medical problem" and "expects to get well." Defense attorney Jeremy Margolis didn't elaborate about Fogle's condition while speaking to reporters after Fogle appeared in court today in Indianapolis on child sex and child pornography charges. Margolis also said Fogle expects to go to prison and "will do his time."

CHICAGO (AP) — An appeals court in Chicago says it will not rehear the appeal of former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich's (bluh-GOY'-uh-vich-iz) corruption convictions. Blagojevich had hoped the full court might overturn more of his 18 convictions than the five counts a three-judge panel tossed in July. The 58-year-old Democrat is serving a 14-year prison sentence in a Colorado prison for multiple corruption convictions.

EDGARTOWN, Mass. (AP) — President Barack Obama will mark next week's 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina by visiting New Orleans, which bore the brunt of the storm. Obama will meet with New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu and residents who have spent the past decade trying to rebuild their lives after the storm that killed nearly 2,000 people.

WINSLOW, Maine (AP) — A Maine police department is offering drug dealers a free service to get their competition off the streets. The Kennebec Journal reports the Winslow Police Department has posted a flier on its Facebook page encouraging drug dealers to fill out a form detailing the names, addresses and cellphone numbers of their competitors. The police chief acknowledges the posting was made tongue-in-cheek, but says he's hopeful it could lead to good tips.
