3 candidates named for Owensboro college presidency

VERSAILLES, Ky. (AP) — Three candidates have been selected to interview to become president of Owensboro Community and Technical College.

On-campus visits and interviews are planned next Wednesday and Thursday for Larry Ferguson, William Rule and Scott Williams.

The Kentucky Community and Technical College System said in a news release Thursday that Ferguson is vice chancellor of economic development and workforce solutions and interim vice chancellor of academic affairs for KCTCS; Rule is vice president of student affairs and technology advancement at Chattahoochee Technical College in Marietta, Georgia; and Williams is vice president of academic affairs and chief academic officer at the Owensboro college.

In addition to the campus visits and interviews, the candidates will also meet with the public during community forums Wednesday and Thursday mornings.
