NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — The Rev. Al Sharpton says swift action taken by a white mayor and police chief in South Carolina after the recent fatal shooting of an unarmed black man by a white police officer could set the tone for handling future questions of police misconduct across the country. The officer was fired and has been charged with murder.

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Police in Florida say a Lamborghini that was part of an exotic car Walt Disney World racing attraction crashed into a guardrail today, killing a 36-year-old male passenger and injuring the driver. The attraction lets racecar fans be drivers or passengers in luxurious cars. It isn't clear if the driver was a track employee or a customer. The driver suffered minor injuries.

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Hillary Rodham Clinton is now officially a candidate for president of the United States. She made the announcement today in an online video. She'll be taking her brand-new campaign into the heart of small town Iowa this week. Clinton will tour a community college in Monticello on Tuesday and visit a produce distribution company in Norwalk on Wednesday.

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) — The next space station grocery run will carry caffeine to a whole new level: Aboard the SpaceX supply ship scheduled to be launched from Florida tomorrow afternoon is an authentic espresso machine from Italy. It's intended for International Space Station astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti, who's Italian.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) — The green jacket belongs to Jordan Spieth (speeth). He finished off the first wire-to-wire victory at the Masters since 1976 with a dominating four-stroke triumph today at Augusta National. Spieth shot an 18-under 270. Tiger Woods won his first green jacket in 1997 with an 18-under 270. Phil Mickelson and Justin Rose tied for the runner-up spot.
