TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting at a Twin Falls motel.
Twin Falls Police Sgt. Brent Wright tells the Times-News that William McGrath was arrested Friday at his home in Jerome County. He is being held on investigation of first-degree murder.
A 30-year-old woman, Crystal Turner, turned herself into police after Thursday's shooting of Charles Johnston at the Apollo Motor Inn. She's being held on investigation of murder and robbery charges.
Prosecutors say Johnston was killed in a motel bathtub. They say Turner told police she learned the victim had inherited money and that she and McGrath went with another unidentified man to the motel intending to rob him.
McGrath has been arrested several times in Nevada, including a Nov. 17, 2013, arrest on a domestic battery charge.
