CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) — Offensive lineman Brayden Kearsley, who played two seasons at BYU, has transferred to Oregon State.

Kearsley, who played at Aloha High School west of Portland, appeared in 18 games for the Cougars. The 6-foot-4, 300-pound lineman started three games as a sophomore last season despite missing games with injuries.

Oregon State announced Tuesday that Kearsley had signed a financial aid agreement to enroll. Under NCAA rules, he must sit out a year.
