BLACKFOOT, Idaho (AP) — A southeast Idaho charter school that purchased a second-hand bus from a public school has discovered it's the same bus used in the 2004 quirky comedy movie "Napoleon Dynamite."

A Blackfoot Charter Community Learning Center bus driver made the connection after recently watching the cult favorite and spotting a bus that looked familiar.

School transportation director Brian Thelin tells the Idaho State Journal (http://bit.ly/1EBVk6p) that the Preston School District confirmed it's the same bus that appears in the movie, an ode to outsiders which made $46 million.

Thelin says kids love riding in the bus and it will continue to be used for that purpose.

The charter school bought the 1998 Blue Bird TC2000 school bus from Preston School District about two and a half years ago.
