SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Three educators have been selected as Utah secondary principals of the year.
The Utah State Office of Education and the Utah Association of Secondary School Principals announced the selections Wednesday.
Principal Todd Quarnberg of Copper Hills High School in West Jordan, Principal Sandy Ferrell of Sunrise Ridge Intermediate School in St. George and Assistant Principal Peter Glahn of Mountain View High School in Orem were nominated to compete in National Principal of the Year competition.
The Deseret News reports (http://bit.ly/1u6Emwl ) the competition recognizes principals who demonstrate exemplary contributions to the profession and student success.
