RENO, Nev. (AP) — D.J. Fenner scored 18 points on Sunday and Nevada beat Northwest Christian 81-67 in an exhibition game for the Beacons.

AJ West scored 14 points and blocked three shots, Michael Perez scored 13, including three 3-pointers, and Tyron Criswell added 11 for the Wolf Pack (4-8).

Nevada never trailed and opened with an 11-2 run capped by a 3-pointer by Perez, then used a 10-2 run to lead 20-9. Perez scored 11 and the Wolf Pack led 41-24 at halftime.

Nevada opened the second half with a 13-3 run and built a 28-point lead. The Beacons clawed back to within nine, 76-67, on consecutive 3-pointers by Austin Kuemper, but Nevada finished with a 5-0 run.

The Wolf Pack outrebounded the Beacons 46-29 and converted 25 Northwest Christian personal fouls into 24 of 36 free throws.

Kuemper led the Beacons (9-3) with 26, Michael Loomis had 12 and Javonte Byrd 10.
