PITTSBURGH (AP) — Brandon Sutter scored his second goal of the game 2:23 into overtime to give the Pittsburgh Penguins a 3-2 exhibition victory over the Minnesota Wild on Thursday night.

Sutter beat Ilya Bryzgalov with a backhander in overtime. Sutter opened the scoring in the first period with a power-play goal. Oskar Sundqvist also scored for Pittsburgh (1-2-0).

Thomas Vanek and Zach Parise scored for Minnesota (0-1-1).

Vanek tied it at 1 on a power play 33 seconds into the second period, tipping Mikko Koivu's shot past goalie Jeff Zatkoff. Parise gave the Wild a 2-1 lead at 7:12 of the third, and Sundqvist tied it 14 seconds later.

Zatkoff made 16 saves for Pittsburgh.
