LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities have identified a man who was killed after shots were fired into a Las Vegas apartment earlier this week.

Clark County coroner's officials say 23-year-old Las Vegas resident Derrell Martrise Carr died of gunshot wounds to the chest and neck after the Tuesday night shooting.

Police say officers were called a little before 8 p.m. Tuesday to the Mirabella Apartments on East Bonanza Road.

Authorities say shots fired into the apartment hit two men and killed Carr on the scene.

A second man was hit in the leg and was taken to University Medical Center, but is expected to survive.
