SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Tickets are now available for an open house at the newly-renovated Odgen Temple.
Visitors starting this week can reserve a ticket at templeopenhouse.lds.org.
The Daily Herald of Provo reports (http://bit.ly/1pCiwtg) the event begins Aug. 1 and runs through Sept. 6, except for Sundays.
A formal dedication is scheduled on Sunday, Sept. 21 at 10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Each session will be broadcast to LDS meetinghouses in Utah and some parts of Wyoming.
A cultural celebration Sept. 20 at Weber State University in Ogden runs in conjunction with the dedication.
The Ogden Temple features new stone and glass, new heating and electrical systems, as well as underground parking.
It was the 14th operating temple of the church to be dedicated, and the fifth in Utah. It is among 142 such temples worldwide.
