LAS VEGAS (AP) — A man and woman who killed two Las Vegas police officers and a Wal-Mart shopper before they died in a store shootout earlier this month were heavily armed and carried ammunition including armor-piercing bullets. Clark County Sheriff Doug Gillespie says Jerad and Amanda Miller had four handguns, a shotgun, water and food. They were also wearing adult diapers.

RENO, Nev. (AP) — A 61-year-old man who was paroled from prison in November after serving more than 20 years for the murder of his fiancee in southern Nevada has been charged in the murder of a woman at a Reno motel. Police say Zollie Dumas told investigators he had killed a woman June 16 at the Lucky Motel on Fourth Street east of downtown.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — A judge has set a new court date for a Las Vegas woman facing felony charges after police say she threw her two young children and herself out a second-story window. A jail official told the judge today that 34-year-old Luz Robledo Ibarra refused to leave her jail cell for an initial court appearance. The girl and boy were critically hurt and Ibarra suffered a broken pelvis.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — More than 130,000 people poured through the gates of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway each night of the weekend-long Electric Daisy Carnival. A 24-year-old San Leandro, California, man died Saturday morning after collapsing at the event. The Clark County coroner's office said the cause of death was pending toxicology and other tests.
