BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Police say someone drove a gas-powered scooter inside a Boise office building, sickening at least 17 people. Nine of them -- two of them pregnant -- were taken to hospitals yesterday afternoon following the episode at the 14-story One Capital Center building. Police say the scooter traveled on multiple floors while being operated by an employee in the building.

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Four couples who successfully sued Gov. Butch Otter over the state's gay marriage ban are asking to be reimbursed for nearly half a million dollars in attorney fees and other court costs. Attorneys for the state and for the governor have not yet responded to the motion. Idaho's gay marriage ban is pending before a federal appeals court.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — A judge has ruled there is enough evidence against a south-central Idaho man charged with forcibly keeping a woman as a sex slave for 18 months to move the case to district court. The Times-News reports that the woman testified that Oscar Ayala-Arizmendi repeatedly raped her, beat her and held her against her will.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — A Twin Falls man whose online postings led to two attempted rapes has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to solicitation of rape. The Times-News reports that Justin Crawford's attorney argued that he suffers from PTSD. The woman who was targeted fought off the two attackers who broke into her home.
