BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A 22-year-old Nampa woman who killed a Garden City man has been sentenced to life in prison.

Fourth District Judge Timothy Hansen on Tuesday ordered Jordan Shaver to serve a minimum of 20 years before she's eligible for parole.

Shaver pleaded guilty in December to second-degree murder for the Oct. 16, 2012, killing of 49-year-old Brian Barton Geddes of Garden City.

Garden City police found Geddes' body on Nov. 2, 2012, wrapped in a blanket under his house. He had been shot in the back of the head

Prosecutors say Shaver lived in the house, drove Geddes' cars and spent his money for two weeks after the shooting before family members of the victim confronted her.
