LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities have identified a man who was fatally shot south of downtown Las Vegas over the weekend.
Clark County coroner's officials say 31-year-old Gabriel Dieguez died after being shot Saturday afternoon on New York Avenue, east of Industrial Road. That's just north of the Stratosphere tower.
Officers say two citizens were tending to Dieguez's wounds when they arrived.
He was taken to University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports police were looking for three men in connection with the shooting.
