The casino company confirmed in a statement today that the information about some patrons at its Bethlehem, Pa., hotel-casino was compromised during the Feb. 10 attack.
LAS VEGAS (AP) — The Clark County District Attorney wants 27 puppies rescued from a pet shop arson fire to be put up for adoption. District Attorney Steve Wolfson says the owners of the Prince and Princess pet store have until Sunday to claim ownership of the dogs. He says if they want the dogs, they'll have to pay more than $10,000 in boarding fees and veterinarian bills.
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Creators of a giant observation wheel on the Las Vegas Strip are flipping the lights on in an official sunset ceremony, although passengers still won't be able to board the attraction. A lighting ceremony for the Las Vegas High Roller is set for late this afternoon. The general manager of the $550 million LINQ development that houses the wheel will also be providing an update on the project's progress.
LAS VEGAS (AP) — A pretrial hearing has again been reset for a former Las Vegas-area lawmaker jailed in California for nearly a year since his arrest in a freeway scuffle. Prosecutor Shannon Faherty said Steven Brooks' attorney didn't appear today in San Bernardino County Superior Court in Victorville, Calif., due to heavy rains the area.
