DAVIE, Fla. -- Cleo Lemon will keep the No. 1 quarterback job for the Miami Dolphins and start Sunday against Buffalo, coach Cam Cameron said Monday.

There had been speculation Cameron might give rookie John Beck his first NFL start for the winless Dolphins.

Trent Green started the first five games but went on injured reserve Oct. 20 following his second severe concussion in 13 months. The Dolphins lost their past three games with Lemon as the quarterback.

As the first quarterback drafted in the first or second round by the Dolphins since Dan Marino, Beck has widely been considered their QB of the future. Giving him a tryout would help them decide whether they need to acquire a quarterback in 2008.

"We have two guys who don't have a lot of experience," Cameron said. "We're going to need them both."
