This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.

This is interesting: about one out of every five new homes sold in the Salt Lake Valley is in Daybreak. In fact, over the last several years more people have moved to Daybreak in South Jordan than to any other new home community in Utah. Why is that? Some of it could be attributed to the homes themselves but I'm sure it's also because of the quality businesses setting up shop there, like Oopsie Daisy.

Owners Robert and Tiffany Avery classify their business as "a children's boutique like no other." And after my recent visit, I would have to agree. This is a beautiful store whose name came from Tiffany saying "oopsie daisy" to her daughter.

When you walk up to the store you can clearly see her marketing prowess with the big daisy adorned bulbs hanging in front of the window.

This one-year-old company carries well-known kids clothing lines like the Tea Collection and the hot-selling Aden and Anais swaddle blankets. They are also adding a women's clothing line called Odd Molly for moms who visit the shop.

The owners test the products with their own child first to make sure they'll withstand the test of time. That's the kind of quality you can expect from this store. These savvy business owners listen to what their customers want.

For example, last Christmas Oopsie Daisy offered free gift wrapping, a wildly popular service. So their customers would go next door to the second business the Averys own called San Gelato Café, where their customers can enjoy a tasty Gelato, authentic panini or an espresso.

San Gelato has a beautiful fireplace with a seating area and a lawn outside the window where you can sit during the summer. This is a charming, casual restaurant with great products.

Thank goodness we have the TRAX line from South Jordan to Salt Lake going in next year because Robert and Tiffany are going to need it with their destination business Oopsie Daisy in Daybreak.

For Zions Bank, I'm Chris Redgrave, speaking on business.
