SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Jazz forward Andrei Kirilenko says there is a slight chance he could play if Utah's playoff series against Denver goes to six or seven games.
Kirilenko said Wednesday that it's unlikely, but he's holding out hope that his strained left calf will be ready for him to play if the series goes the distance.
The Jazz and Nuggets are tied at 1-1 in the best-of-seven series, which resumes Friday night in Utah.
Kirilenko received a dose of platelet-rich plasma therapy on Monday. The nagging injury has kept him out for most of the last month and he's hopeful the treatment can speed up his recovery and he can rejoin the short-handed Jazz.
Utah opened the series without Kirilenko, then lost starting center Mehmet Okur when he tore his left Achilles' tendon in Game 1.
