SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A former state psychiatrist convicted of child pornography is on the run from police.

FBI agents are looking for 54-year-old Doctor Bruce Argyle Guernsey. They say he fled the area sometime last month.

Guernsey pleaded guilty back in March to possession of child pornography. Last month he surrendered his license to practice psychiatry, and that's the last time authorities saw him.

The FBI says it's possible Guernsey fled the area to avoid his sentencing on July 19th. He faces up to 20 years in prison.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the FBI at 801-579-1300.
