LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities have identified two hikers who died after falling from a cliff at Las Vegas' Red Rock Canyon.
KLAS-TV reported (http://bit.ly/1skcMMq) Sunday that the Clark County Coroner's office identified the deceased as 49-year-old Sean Christopher Randles and 42-year-old Melanie Leigh Kushnir, both of Las Vegas.
A cause of death is still pending.
Authorities say police received several emergency calls around 3:30 p.m. Saturday about a man and a woman who were hurt after falling in the Red Rock National Recreation Area.
An air rescue unit located both of them near the Pine Creek Trail but they were pronounced dead.
The incident is still under investigation.
