HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) — A man shot and killed by police after allegedly going on a shooting spree at a Henderson hotel has been identified.

The Clark County Coroner's Office on Sunday say 36-year-old Bryan David Bauer, of Las Vegas, died after a shootout with police officers.

However, his full autopsy has not been completed.

Henderson police say Bauer allegedly shot at people through a window Saturday morning from a first-floor room at the Hilton Garden Inn.

No one was injured and the building and surrounding businesses were evacuated.

Police spokeswoman Kathleen Richards says SWAT officers responding found in him in a hallway, where he was emitting pepper spray at officers.

Richards says he then fired at officers, leading to them returning fire.

Bauer later died at a hospital.

The police investigation remains ongoing.
