TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — A Tempe Marcos de Niza High School teacher is on administrative leave after being accused of having sex with an 18-year-old male student.
Phoenix TV station KTVK reports that Tempe Union High School District officials placed Brooke Hesson on administrative leave and the school's principal sent a letter home to parents.
School officials say Hesson teaches math and is a cheerleading coach.
They say Hesson remains on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
