SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is scheduled to be the keynote speaker at a conference this week in Salt Lake City.
The Utah Republican Party says Rice will be speaking Friday at the U.S. Sen. Orrin Hatch's annual Utah Woman's Conference.
This year's theme is, "Discovering the diversity and unity of women."
Rice, who is now a professor of Political Science at Stanford University, was in the news recently after her name surfaced as one of the people that is expected to be on the College Football Playoff selection committee next year.
