Outlook

Mostly cloudy skies will stick around through the weekend and temperatures will remain above normal. Lows tonight will be in the mid 30s and highs will warm a few degrees into the low 50s.Over the weekend, we're tracking a few more chances for valley rain and mountain snow. The first chance will be tomorrow, mainly in the evening, and across northern Utah. Rain totals by the end of the night will be less than a tenth of an inch, so not impactful. Sunday looks to see periods of rain, possible throughout majority of the day. Valley rain and mountain snow will be most prominent Sunday evening into Monday morning - and this is where we'll rack up the totals. Right now, our forecast calls for .50" to 1.0" of rain by Monday evening along the Wasatch Front, but areas northeast of the Great Salt Lake could see higher. Less than a quarter in central Utah valleys, and up to a quarter in southwest Utah. Northern mountain snow 6-12" with up to 16" in the Cottonwoods. Central mountains 3-6" and southern mountains 2-4".? - Devan Masciulli, KSL Weather 1.2.26
