(KSL News) -- Retail chain TJ Maxx says thieves have taken customers' personal information.
TJ Maxx announced today somebody hacked into its computer credit card system before last Christmas. That computer network handles credit card, debit card and check purchases.
TJ Maxx is trying to find out what information thieves took so the company can contact victims.
