ICE CREAM LOVERS HEADQUARTERS— National Ice Cream Cone Day is Thursday, and if there is one place to celebrate, it’s Utah.

All over the state, there are dozens of authentic and delicious ice cream shops unique to Utah. Here is a list of five great places to get a cone.

Pace’s Dairy Ann

1180 S. 500 West, Bountiful

Pace’s Dairy Ann, a family-owned fast food restaurant, has been around since 1957, and has stayed true to the decade of its time. Not only do they offer burgers and other classic fast foods, but they also serve specialized ice cream treats.

Some of their ice cream cone menu items include the Derby, a vanilla ice cream cone dipped in chocolate, the Nutty Buddy, a vanilla ice cream cone dipped in chocolate and rolled in peanuts, and a traditional vanilla, chocolate or twist ice cream cone.

Purple Turtle

85 E. State St., Pleasant Grove

Purple Turtle in Pleasant Grove is a great place to get a traditional ice cream cone or chocolate dipped cone. A regular cone is only $.99, and if that’s not exciting enough for you, get yourself a large cone or a brown topper for only $.70 more.
