FORT WORTH, Texas -- No. 4 TCU will debut new Nike uniforms for this week's big MWC showdown with No. 14 Utah.
ESPN.com's Graham Watson reports that the uniforms are from Nike's Pro Combat line, which is 25 percent lighter than a standard uniform. The jerseys are purple with "Horned Frogs" written across the front and the words "Never Back Down" in the collar.
Last season, Utah broke out the all black uniforms for its "Blackout" game against TCU. The game turned out to be one of the loudest and most exciting games the Utes have played. Expect a similar level of excitement on Saturday.
