(KSL Sports) The BYU Cougars (9-1, 5-1 MWC) ends this season with two very difficult road games. After soundly beating an injury-riddle San Diego State team, BYU heads to Colorado Springs, Colo. to face the surging Air Force Falcons (8-2, 5-1 MWC).

The Falcons have won five straight games including last week's 38-17 win over Colorado St.

"We've made steady progress throughout the season and yet undoubtedly for who we are going to have to face these next two games we better develop and do it in a matter of days because of the quality opponent BYU is," Air Force head coach Troy Calhoun says. "Frequently what BYU does against Air Force, they've been able to bottle you up so much with their size. It has been difficult. And we've got to try to find some ways to get the ball to the perimeter, but they make it tough for that to occur."

Calhoun was very complimentary of BYU's big time playmakers, specifically the big three. "Where they are such good players and Max Hall is uncanny, is there are times where I think you try to take [Austin] Collie or [Dennis] Pitta away and yet still they create just enough separation cause they're pretty skilled and Max Hall drops the ball right on the dime."

He added, "They've got a bunch of weapons, guys that are veteran players and they are talented and when you mash in there [Harvey] Unga, with their offensive line and him being able to pound at you. Those big backs- they are tough, really, really tough."

He didn't stop there bringing up Hall's 32 touchdown passes and 71 percent completion percentage.

"He has a feel for getting rid of the ball, says Calhoun. "Having that feel, that instinct, that nerve of when you just got to hold the ball a bit longer and if you will, having that anticipation when the ball needs to be released. He absolutely has it."

You can hear more from Coach Calhoun during pregame coverage on KSL Newsradio 102.7FM/1160AM beginning at 11:30 a.m. Kick-off is set for 1:30 p.m. from Falcon Stadium.
