LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities have identified a 69-year-old man accused of killing a woman in Las Vegas before shooting himself dead.
Clark County coroner's officials have identified the suspect as Robert Hender, who died of a gunshot wound to the head. The victim has not yet been identified, but police say she was in a relationship with the Hender.
Lt. Mark Reddon says police were called a little after 7 p.m. Tuesday after a woman didn't show up to work for several days and didn't call her boss. Police who checked her home on Plaza Del Padre found her dead with a gunshot wound.
Reddon says Hender was found next to her.
The home is located west of downtown, near South Valley View Boulevard and West Sahara Avenue.
