LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities say they've recovered the body of a 30-year-old Las Vegas man who went missing at Lake Mead earlier this week.
Park rangers say family members who were searching the area with snorkel gear about 4 p.m. Wednesday spotted what they thought was a body. Rescuers with a police dive team recovered the body of Dindo Gavarra, who had gone missing the day before after jumping from a houseboat without a life jacket.
Rescuers are still looking for two men who disappeared on Sunday.
A 53-year-old Las Vegas man disappeared before noon at Lake Mohave south of Willow Beach. Nearly three hours later, a 25-year-old Las Vegas man went missing near Lake Mead's Boulder Islands.
Neither of those men was wearing a life jacket.
