CTEP's Marketing-Focused College and Career Institute for Students,
Educators Now Set for April 30
EDISON, N.J., April 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Career and Technical
Education Partnership (CTEP) of New Jersey's Marketing Project
(www.ctepmarketingtoolkit.org) will hold its free College and Career
Readiness Seminar for students, teachers, and guidance counsellors,
which was snowed out earlier in the year, on Wednesday, April 30 at
Middlesex County College from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm.

Music and entertainment executive Jasmine Young-Trinidad, whose
clients include Def Jam Records, Run-DMC, and the City of Charlotte,
NC will be keynote speaker. The event includes opportunities for
attendees to interact with marketing professionals in sports, software
and social media, non-profit organizations, and branding. Five
small-group breakout sessions will cover topics such as career
readiness and job-seeking. There will also be a networking opportunity

Hosted by CTEP's Marketing Career Cluster, the College and Career
Readiness Seminar opens with the keynote address, followed by a Career
Development Panel. Participants will then attend a networking session
plus three of the five breakout sessions. Topics for the breakout
sessions are:

-- Building a student portfolio and managing social media accounts
-- Business-to-business or consumer marketing, which one is right for
me?
-- Non-Profit Marketing and Community Service Volunteers
