CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Dec delivery was 1.75 cents higher at $5.24 a bushel; Dec corn was 3.50 cents higher at $3.5650 a bushel; Dec oats were unchanged at $3.54 a bushel; while Nov soybeans gained 9.50 cents to $9.7225 a bushel.
Beef mostly higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Dec live cattle was .15 cent higher at $1.6825 pound; Oct feeder cattle was .55 cent higher at 2.4000 a pound; Dec lean hogs losted 1.30 cents to $.8845 a pound.
