Several police agencies searched the area with a canine unit and chopper. They couldn't find him, but they do know his identity. They say he's about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds.

"We do know who he is. However, we don't have any kind of a history of where he's been staying. He's been in transit while continuing threats to his ex-wife, his separated wife, at this point," said Assistant Chief Craig Black of the West Valley Police Department.

Those threats reportedly started yesterday morning. Waters' estranged wife reported he was becoming increasingly violent at home, sometimes firing guns inside the home. His wife took away the guns. Waters continued to threaten his wife, trying to get the guns. When she refused, he left.

"We've become very concerned he will follow through with these threats. Therefore we feel it's important to get him arrested and in jail," Black said.

Police tried to have the couple meet to take him into custody. But when he saw officers, he fled, and that's when the chase began.

Waters has been arrested before, and it's suspected he may be on drugs. If he's found, he could face aggravated assault and domestic charges, as well as a charge for evading police.
