SALT LAKE CITY — A traffic accident in Salt Lake City left a bicyclist in critical condition Saturday.
The car and bicycle were going opposite directions near 900 South and 700 East when the accident occurred, according to Salt Lake City Police.
Police said they believe one of the vehicles failed to stop at a red light. The bicyclist was transported to the hospital in critical condition, they said.
Police are still gathering details on the accident and said they would like to speak with any witnesses that were in the area.
