WASHINGTON, DC -- Following the announcement of assumed Republican front-runner Mitt Romney pursuing another presidential bid, Democrats also had an announcement about the presidential hopeful: Romney is a flip- flopping politician.
The announcement came as a new web video, highlighting several statements that Romney has made over the last few years.
The video is intended to be a simple and straightforward approach -- more straightforward than Romney has been on the issues as a politician -- to many of Romney's political positions, the DNC said
"He's going into this campaign with the same fatal flaws that doomed him the first time around: that he's seen as a wishy-washy, flip-flopping politician who lacks any core convictions or principles and who you simply can't trust to shoot strait with you," the DNC said.
The video takes a look at Romney's opposing views on health care, TARP, the Recovery Act and the auto loan packages. It concludes with one message: Romney 2012. Same Candidate. Different Positions. Again.
