LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Clippers have waived free agent forward/center Nikoloz Tskitishvili.
The move came Saturday, a day after he didn't play in the team's first preseason game, a 103-96 victory over Denver. The team signed him last week.
Tskitishvili, a 32-year-old from Tbilisi, Georgia, played for Champville of the Lebanese Basketball League last season. He has appeared in 172 career NBA games with Denver, Golden State, Minnesota and Phoenix, averaging 2.9 points and 1.7 rebounds. He was chosen fifth overall in the 2002 NBA draft by the Nuggets.
