ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — The Philadelphia 76ers and Orlando Magic have completed a trade, swapping the No. 10 and 12 picks in the NBA draft.
In the trade announced during the first round Thursday night, Philadelphia dealt the rights to No. 10 pick Elfrid Payton of Louisiana-Lafayette to Orlando for the rights of Croatia's Dario Saric, who the Magic selected at No. 12.
Philadelphia also gets Orlando's 2015 second-round pick and a future first-round it received from Philadelphia in the Dwight Howard deal in 2012.
The Magic receive a possible point guard of the future in the 6-foot-3 Payton, with veteran Jameer Nelson entering the final year of a partially guaranteed contract.
The Sixers get Saric, the 2013 FIBA Europe Young Player of the Year.
