SUMMIT PARK, Summit County — A woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition Thursday after a car crash on I-80 in Lambs Canyon.
The crash occurred shortly before 10 a.m. when the vehicle hit the crash attenuator on the south edge of the roadway, causing the vehicle to roll before catching fire and burning, according to the Utah Department of Public Safety.
The driver, who was the lone occupant of the car, was pulled from the car by a motorist who witnessed the crash.

"Troopers are investigating to see if impairment was a factor in the crash," said the release.
One lane on the eastbound side of I-80 was closed for approximately 45 minutes and two lanes are closed on the westbound side.
