EAGLE MOUNTAIN — Nine residents were displaced from their home in Eagle Mountain due to a house fire on Sunday, Unified Fire Authority said.

Fire crews were dispatched to the home at 2:38 p.m. Sunday and made a "quick and aggressive interior attack" on the fire, Unified Fire Authority said on its Facebook page. The garage sustained heavy damage in the blaze but fire crews were able to prevent the home from being a total loss.

No one was injured in the fire, the social media post said. The Red Cross provided assistance to those displaced at the scene.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
