SALT LAKE CITY — An abandoned home caught fire Saturday night in Salt Lake City, resulting in the temporary closure of 900 West.

Firefighters were called to the scene, near 900 W. California Ave, at approximately 4:45 p.m. Saturday. The home, which is believed to have been condemned and no longer occupied, quickly became completely engulfed in flames.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.

There was no reported injuries or casualties. No other information was available.
