SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake police discovered a body Tuesday in a surplus canal by the Salt Lake City International Airport.

Salt Lake police said at this point in the investigation, the incident does not seem suspicious as there was no trauma to the person's body. It is possible the person could have traveled down the canal from another location, but police are still investigating.

The identity of the person has not been determined, police said.
