SALT LAKE CITY — Two people died in an RV fire early Wednesday in Salt Lake City.

The fire happened at 1700 W. 200 South, said Salt Lake Fire Capt. Tony Stowe.

The front of the RV was on fire, so firefighters needed to enter through the back of the vehicle, he said. Crews extinguished the blaze quickly.

One other person escaped and suffered smoke inhalation, officials said.

The names of the victims have not been released.
