SALT LAKE CITY — A person has died after a head-on collision with a semitruck on Wednesday, officials said.
According to Salt Lake City Police Lt. David Wierman, the crash occurred just north of 300 South on 5600 West. Wierman said the driver of the passenger vehicle has died from their injuries.
Northbound and southbound traffic is closed on 5600 West, with roads closed from 300 South, to where the on- and off-ramp is on I-80.
Further details, including the identities of those involved, have not yet been released.
