FARMINGTON — All lanes of southbound I-15 have reopened after a semitruck caught on fire near Park Lane in Farmington early Friday morning.
The driver of the semitruck noticed smoke and fire about 12:40 a.m. and detached the truck's trailer, officials said. KSL NewsRadio reports the semitruck was carrying frozen foods.
The driver was not injured.

All southbound lanes of the freeway reopened at Park Lane about 9:30 a.m. Friday, and drivers in the area should expect some residual delays, according to the Utah Department of Transportation.
Earlier Friday during the closure, traffic was being diverted off the freeway and onto Legacy Highway, the Utah Department of Transportation tweeted.
The cause of the fire was not initially known.
