MIDVALE — A two-alarm fire at a Midvale apartment building sent one person to a hospital on Friday, Unified Fire Authority officials confirmed.

Crews were on scene at the 24-unit complex, located at 7927 S. 600 West, by 2 p.m. The fire was extinguished as of 3:30 p.m.

Six units were involved in the blaze and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

One person transported to a hospital was in stable condition, and another was treated for injuries on scene.

No firemen were injured and six agencies responded to the incident.

Further information about estimated damages was not immediately available.
