61-year-old cyclist found dead on Coyote Trail

HEBER CITY — A 61-year-old man was found dead Monday about 3:40 p.m. on the Coyote Trail north of Heber City, authorities said on Facebook.

Someone reported the cyclist unconscious to 911 but when Wasatch County Sheriff’s deputies and EMS responded to the scene, they found the man dead, authorities said.

The man’s cause of death wasn’t known, Wasatch County Sheriff’s officials said.

It appeared the man, whose name was not released, was from Wasatch County, officials said.
