MURRAY — Kayakers spotted a man's body in the water of Little Cottonwood Creek on Thursday, police said.
About 1:30 p.m., the group kayaking down the creek saw the body and called police, Murray Police Sgt. Ross Huff said.
Crews waited until a medical examiner arrived before retrieving the man's body from the water.
Murray firefighters pulled the body out of the water later Thursday afternoon. He was estimated to be between ages 20 and 30, Huff said.
Additional information about the man or his cause of death was not immediately known.
