SALT LAKE CITY — A couple of weeks ago we gave you 5 board games that should be movies. While the article was meant to be fun and give you a break during the day, truth is, we wouldn't be too surprised to see those movies on the big screen someday. Well, we came across this "trailer" for a Tetris movie and it was right up the alley of the board game movies.

The trailer is just that, a trailer. There is no movie version of Tetris in the works, that we are aware of at least, but the makers of the video, Warialasky, say they will make it a movie if enough people watch the video. It's already got over 700 thousand views, so we may see a full film.
The trailer is actually fairly well done and it makes you laugh and cry. You laugh because of the absurdity of the whole thing. It makes you cry because you could actually envision Hollywood pouring millions into this concept.
Warialasky is actually a group of friends with Utah ties that make weekly videos. The videos focus on the two things these guys know best, action movies and video games.
Check out the trailer and tell us what you think. Would you watch an entire film based on Tetris? And is it true that as long as you add aliens any film becomes believable and bankable? Yikes. Anyway, sound off on the comment boards and on Facebook.
