CLEARFIELD — A late night Saturday fire destroyed a Clearfield home, three vehicles and caused minor damage to an adjoining house.

There were no injuries reported in the 11:26 p.m. blaze at 431 W. 100 North, with three teenagers who were able to safely escape.

The fire brought response from North Davis Fire District, Clinton, Sunset, Syracuse and Layton fire departments, with first arriving crews spotting flames coming from the garage area and rolling out of the upper bedrooms located above the garage.

Fire officials say there was a potential for the fire to spread to other twin homes, but crews were able to confine the blaze, which caused $200,000 in damage.

Investigators were still trying to determine the cause.
